When we think about our role as a learner with our Maker opportunities in the STEM Academy, there are unique aspects that we need to be aware of to make our Maker Experience rewarding.

- Learning Activity 1: Think about the definitions for each category of maker tools. Search Google for at least 2 examples of tools that would fit into that category. Screenshot the images you find and put them on the Lingo slide you think they go with. Try to focus on tools that we might realistically use in our STEM Academy.
- Learning Activity 2: Now that you have become familiar with our tool categories, lets organize some of our existing tools into their correct category. Take the pictures below and place them on the lingo slide of the category you think they belong to.
Maker Safety: iCan describe the importance of safety in our Maker workshop, and be on the lookout for safety issues.
